APDT Conference to focus on fit-for-purpose drilling innovations
An understanding of drilling dynamics and the development of fit-for-purpose technologies are crucial in helping the industry gain efficiency in terms of cost, operation, and production while still achieving sustainability and stakeholder expectations. The industry has evolved significantly since 2014, facing new challenges that require innovative approaches in applying technology to maximize returns.This new imperative calls for transformation across every aspect of how the industry engages externally and operates internally.
From August 22 to 24, the IADC/SPE Asia Pacific Drilling Technology Conference and Exhibition will be held in Singapore. It will focus on the approaches, challenges, successes and future direction for new growth opportunities in this dynamic environment. The IADC (International Association of Drilling Contractors) provides the opportunity for all oil and gas drilling industry stakeholdersto connect, share knowledge, and develop solutions to critical issues. The SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) is a not-for-profit professional association whose members are engaged in energy resources development and production.

The technical programme will discuss critical topics including mutual profitability in transforming times, technology in well Integrity and brownfield development, safety ownership during technology implementation for effective performance and more.
