Toyo-Korea bags petrochem project in Thailand
An Engineering, Procurement and Construction Project is awarded by Thailand’s major C4 downstream product manufacturer, Bangkok Synthetics Company Ltd (BST) to Toyo Engineering Korea Limited (Toyo-Korea), a Korean subsidiary of Toyo Engineering Corporation.

Under the EPC Contract that was signed on October 31, 2018, Toyo-Korea is in charge of detailed engineering and offshore supply services. On the other hand, Toyo-Korea’s fully owned Thai subsidiary, Toyo Korea Thailand E&C Company Limited (TKT E&C) is responsible for construction work and domestic procurement.
The construction of a 1,3-Butadiene & Butene-1 production units with total capacity of 80 KTA & 34 KTA, respectively, is located at the existing petrochemical complex in Map Ta Phut Rayong, Thailand, BST’s petrochemical complex, is expected to be completed in 2021.
Prior to this EPC project, Toyo-Korea was also awarded with the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) project.
