Deleum wins contract for Petronas’ MCM package

Deleum Berhad’s subsidiary company, Deleum Primera Sdn. Bhd. has snapped up a contract for the Provision of Maintenance, Construction and Modification (MCM) Services [Package C (Offshore) – Peninsular Malaysia Gas] from Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd.

Deleum in its announcement said that the duration of the Contract will be for a primary period of five years with one year extension option effective from 20 September 2017 to 19 September 2022, at an agreed fixed schedule of rates. The details of the scope of works in relation to the Contract will be addressed in work orders which will be issued by Petronas Carigali and shall include any or all other work and services which is generally related to Topside Structural Maintenance, Hook Up and Commissioning and Facilities Improvement Program.

Deleum, a provider of a diverse range of supporting specialised products and services to the oil and gas industry, posted total net earnings of RM8.0mil in its second quarter ended 30 June 2017, as compared to RM13.3 miilion in the previous corresponding quarter. Deleum expects that this new contract will contribute positively to its earnings during the duration of the contract.
