Aramco, Petrovietnam sign Collaboration Framework Agreement
Aramco, a global leader in integrated energy and chemicals, has signed a Collaboration Framework Agreement with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) during an official visit by the Prime Minister of Viet Nam, HE Pham Minh Chinh, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The agreement was signed at the FII 8th Edition in Riyadh to explore potential opportunities for optimising operations and unlocking additional value.
Mohammed Y. Al Qahtani, Aramco’s Downstream President, expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting its alignment with Aramco’s global downstream ambitions and Petrovietnam’s strategic goals. Petrovietnam CEO Le Ngoc Son called the agreement a testament to the strong ties between Viet Nam and Saudi Arabia, paving the way for further cooperation across the hydrocarbon value chain.
“This agreement lays the foundation for potential collaboration across the hydrocarbon value chain,” said Al Qahtani. “The signing of the Collaboration Framework Agreement between Petrovietnam and Aramco is a strategic step,” added Son.
