Petronas Carigali awards contracts to Uzma, Handal

Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd have awarded contracts to two oil and gas services company for the provision of hydraulic workover units for drilling purposes.

Crane services provider Handal Resources Bhd was awarded a contract to provide 225K and 460K hydraulic workover units while Uzma Bhd which provides geoscience and petroleum engineering services, was awarded a contract to provide 150K, 225K and 460K hydraulic workover units.

Handal said in an announcement to Bursa Malaysia that the contract, awarded to unit Handrill Sdn Bhd, was for a duration of three years with a one-year extension option. It added that the contract “is also conditional on Handrill obtaining and maintaining a valid licence with Petronas.”
