QIC, Inc. expands into Malaysia

MALAYSIA – QIC, Inc., a global provider of inspection, project management, and quality engineering services for oil and gas companies announced it has established offices in Kuala Lampur and Labuan, Malaysia.

“Our growth strategy is driven by where our customers want and need us. As with Singapore and the UK, QIC seized the opportunity to have a local presence to provide quality services for major drilling projects in the area,” said Kyle Fletcher, VP & Consulting Manager of QIC, Inc. “Malaysia provides a unique opportunity to extend our services to customers in the Asia Pacific Region.”

QIC will initially focus on providing QA/QC inspections on drilling and completion equipment.  The company plans to increase its Asia Pacific presence congruent to upstream activity in the region and expects to double its operation by the end of 2016.
